2002 |
Group show presenting artwork by faculty
from art academies in three former Yugoslav countries: Slovenia, Croatia
and Bosnia-Herzegovina. This effort testifies that art can be used as
cultural enlightenment and as a tool in building bridges among artists
themselves, their countries and the larger world. Artists from the region
not only help to recreate a more civil society, but also serve as leaders
and pioneers on that path.
The participating artists work in a variety of media
including painting, printmaking, photography, aerography, video installation,
animation, sculpture, digital imagery, etc. and have exhibited their work
internationally.

about the human impact of war and its aftermath. We aim to reach a diverse
