New Works/New Europe
“New Works New Europe” is a group show by faculty staff from art academies in three former Yugoslav countries: Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. This effort testifies that the can be used as a tool for cultural enlightenment and to build bridges among artists themselves, their countries and the rest of Europe. Artists from the region not only help to recreate civil society, they also serve as a leaders and pioneers on that path. The participating artists work in a variety of media including painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, and multimedia and have exhibited their work internationally.
